How to Be a Good teacher

CHAPTER I
INTRODUCTION
Internal factors that influence on formation of national character of which is the direction of development of education. With education, human characters as individuals and as a society can be shaped and directed according to the ideal for the demands of the development process. Human character of this individual will contribute greatly to the formation of the character of the nation's dignity and a contributing factor to the process of accelerating the development of a nation.

A teacher would like to establish a climate of good communication with their students that students understand what is presented, and make learning a fun activity.
Many teachers in general give tips to students how to learn well. However, to inculcate and develop a good habit to learn is difficult. Teachers can not always force the students to make learning the habits they need to do every day. Moreover, if students already in their homes.
Teachers have a role and a very strategic position in national development, especially in education. The Act defined the teacher as professional educators with the primary task of educating, teaching, guiding, directing, train, assess and evaluate students. By emphasized as a professional job, automatic professionalism demands that the principle should be upheld and practiced by teachers, a teacher should have the qualifications, competence and a clear certification.
The teacher plays a very strategic, especially in shaping the national character and to develop students' potential. The presence of the teacher is not replaceable by other elements, especially in our multicultural society and multidimensional, where the role of technology to replace the duties of teachers is very minimal. Teachers have a crucial role in determining educational success. Professional teachers are expected to produce quality graduates. Professionalism of teachers as the spearhead in the implementation of the curriculum in the classroom that need attention (MONE, 2005). In teaching and learning, teachers have a duty to encourage, guide, and provide learning facilities for students to achieve goals. Teachers have a responsibility to see everything that happens in the classroom to assist in the development of students. Delivery of the subject matter is just one of many activities in learning as a dynamic process in all its phases and the development of students.
Once the importance of the role of teachers in the success of students then the teacher should be able to adapt to existing developments and enhance their competence for teachers at this time not only as teachers but also as manager of the learning process. In the whole process of education, teachers are the main factors that served as an educator. Teachers must take responsibility for children's learning activities through the interaction of teaching and learning. Teachers are factors that influence the success of the learning process and teachers must master the principles of learning in addition to mastering the material presented in other words, the teacher must create a best learning condition for students, this is classified as category of the teacher's role as a teacher. Besides the role as teacher, mentor teacher also serves as a means to provide assistance to individuals to achieve self-understanding and direction needed to make the maximum adjustment to school. This is in accordance with the opinion Oemar H (2002) who said the guidance is the process of providing assistance to individuals to achieve self-understanding and self-direction needed to make the adjustment to the maximum of the schools, families and communities.

CHAPTER II
PROBLEM SOLUTION

Every people in this world must get guidance in his life, in the home they have parents, and when they at school, teachers is parents for him, its means teachers is a guidance for every people when he or she at the school.
A teacher who becomes guidance must a good teacher and also must have some characteristic in order to be a good teacher. In this paper, I will tell you about some characteristic of good teacher. The first a teacher must love the job, the second a teacher must have some skills and the third a teacher must care with the students.
The first, we will talk about love the job, a teacher must love the job because when he or she love the job, they can make the lesson interest for students and then make students love the lesson. Teachers who have fed up or unhappy with what they are doing tend to have a negative effect on their students, because they put on a good teacher’s face when they enter the classroom.
The second, teachers must have some skills, this can make interesting the students to following the lesson, like mastered the material taught and competence, teaching well prepared and have a regular teaching organization, enthusiastic about the subject being taught, know name of students, can be an entertainer, and can talk with students. When teachers know name of students, of course they can call name of students to do something, a student who called the name maybe can be proudly and finally they will do what the order from teachers. Teachers also can be entertainer in the class, sometimes students will be fell bored in the class, and it’s the time teachers be an entertainer, students enjoy being entertained. However, a balance has to be struck between entertainments which often gives teachers enjoyable feedback and teaching and learning. Sometimes, the former can overwhelm the latter. And the important things, can talk with students, teachers must adapt their language to their students language like parents when they talk to their young children, it can make students understand with order from the teachers.
The third, teachers must care with student, Students can be approximated (approachable), friendly, open (available), Care about student progress, kind, sympathetic. When some students have trouble, teachers must be someone who can help the students quit from the troubles, the students also must be a motivator when he fined a student who has no spirit to study, and successful teachers are those people who can identify with the hopes, aspirations and difficulties of their students while they are teaching them.


CHAPTER III
CONCLUSION
Teacher is one who has a job as an educator who has a duty to educate individuals who are learning in school to become a useful person for the future. In conclusion, teachers is important people for students, because teachers is parents at the school, but don’t forget, teachers must have some characteristic like love her job, can talk with students, and also must care with students, and also must care with students to become a good teachers and then make students love they lesson and of course love the teachers.
A teacher should pay attention to the activities to be done, before that he must always be prepared and pay attention to what it must be carefully set up will be successful when activities are performed, except that a teacher must also be concerned with his students, whether they're in a problem or in the performance improvement
